What You'll Do:
Transform Veteran Care: Deliver high-impact, patient-centered care to a diverse Veteran population with complex arrhythmias.
Drive Cardiac Innovation: Diagnose and treat a spectrum of heart rhythm disorders using state-of-the-art technology, including performing complex catheter ablations, device implantations (pacemakers, ICDs), and lead extraction.
Shape the Future of Medicine: Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows as part of your University of Arizona faculty appointment.
Collaborate with Leading Experts: Partner with accomplished cardiology colleagues, advanced practice providers, and allied health professionals for truly multidisciplinary care.
Expand Your Skills: Engage in a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including cardiac ultrasound, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI interpretation based on your interests.
Lead Quality Improvement: Be an integral part of innovative quality improvement and patient safety initiatives in a Robert W. Carey Award-winning facility.

Salary & Benefits:
Competitive Pay: $360,000-$380,000 per year + annual performance bonus and regular salary increase.
Sign-On Bonus & EDRP: Up to $200,000 student loan reimbursement for eligible candidates.
Generous Paid Time Off: 50-55 paid days off per year (annual/vacation, sick leave, federal holidays, and CME time).
Federal Retirement & Insurance: Federal pension (vests in 5 years), 401K with up to 5% VA contributions, and full suite of health/vision/dental/life/long-term care insurance.
Malpractice Coverage: Free liability protection with tail coverage.
Licensure: Only 1 active, unrestricted US state license required.

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 am-4:30 pm
Requirements:
US Citizenship (non-citizens may be considered if qualified US citizens are unavailable)
MD/DO degree with completion of US-based residency and Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship
Board Certification in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology (ABIM)
Eligible for VA and University of Arizona appointment
Active, unrestricted US medical license
Maintain AHA BLS/ACLS certification
